The United Kingdom celebrates the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the 60th anniversary of her reign! The queen indeed acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952, on the death of her father George VI. It is the second jubilee in the history of the British monarchy, after that of Queen Victoria in 1897, and one of the longest reigns of all European monarchies.

Naval post for the Thames Water Parade - Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant

A memorable moment of the Queen's Jubilee festivities will remain the exceptional nautical parade on June 3, 2012 on the Thames, including a flotilla of 1000 boats which paraded in the wake of the royal pageantry of Queen Elizabeth II. We offer you a rare envelope, transported aboard the sea rescue vessel “Lady of Mann”, recently restored to take place in this extraordinary parade.
