June 12, 2003 - transfer of Concorde Air France F-BVFA to the Smithonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC (USA)
On June 12, 2003, the “Concorde F-BVFA” of the Air France fleet made its last withdrawal flight from Roissy CdG airport to the Smithonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC (USA), where it will be solemnly handed over to be permanently exhibited. A series of exclusive philatelic souvenirs, issued during the Smithonian Opening Day on December 15, 2003, commemorates this last flight.
