The special stamp "Solidarity-Asia" at the Council of Europe of the '46'
The traditional philatelic envelope, issued since 1949 for each session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, was also dedicated to the victims of the Tsunami. The envelope bears the special postage stamp "SOLIDARITY-ASIA", issued urgently by the French Post Office, of which 0.20€ is donated to the French Red Cross. It is postmarked "Council of Europe, Strasbourg" on the date of 24 January 2005, the day of the "debate under the urgent procedure on the Tsunami disaster".
