Arriving by Concorde “Blair Force One“ Tony Blair meets George W Bush at the White House
White House, 7.11.2001: On the occasion of his meeting on the situation in Afghanistan with President George W. BUSH, Prime Minister Tony BLAIR specially chartered the Concorde G-BOAF of British Airways for a flight “London - Washington, Andrew Air Force Base”. Flight BA 9093 was thus given the code name “Blair Force One”, a nod to the US presidential plane “Air Force One”.
